Zero Waste Towns are really important pilot projects that allow us to test out lots of different approaches that we will need in order to make the transition to a fully zero waste society.
During the initial stages of the Zero Waste Edinburgh project, I have been tasked with designing its branding and visual identity.
Following the guidelines provided by Zero Waste Scotland and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), I designed, collaborating with Rob Simpson (Communications Coordinator: Zero Waste Edinburgh) a series of logos and logotypes, one for each branch of the projects,
The design maintains a close match with the Zero Waste Town overall branding but can be also easily associated distinctively with Zero Waste Edinburgh.
